Capturing emotion in an individual's face on canvas with paint and a brush can prove to be challenging even for the expert artist. Society icon portrait painter Samantha Wendell relished in it. Her work has been commissioned by golf and rock n' roll icons including The Grateful Dead and even Michael Jackson. Billboards around Los Angeles and the 49er's Levi Stadium have featured Wendell and her realistic style with oil paint medium. She used excellent spatial recognition when composing this oversize 48" x 36" depiction of Arnold Palmer in his prime, in a cardigan and immense focus shown with his facial expression. Palmer with great appreciation signed this one-of-a-kind large format piece with his calculated and legible penmanship. Soft colors are used throughout, used in the blue sky and throughout his cardigan and undershirt. She used a high definition photograph of The King as inspiration, reliving a moment featuring greatness many decades ago. Memories of Palmer brought up through pieces such as this one will be carried on as long as the game of golf is. The stretched canvas has four wood support beams in the corners and a hanging wire found on the reverse. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will be eligible for the extended bidding period. Each lot will have its own countdown clock set for a 30-minute interval starting at 9pm ET. The clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm ET
4. All lots will begin closing on a LOT BY LOT basis at 9pm ET
