Arnold Palmer Signed & Inscribed Photo to NBA Legend Michael Jordan
Without Arnold Palmer there would never have been Air Jordan. Palmer was among the first athletes to have an agent and negotiate rights He also was the first athlete to trade mark his name and create his own logo. This all led to Michael Jordan's branding of Air Jordan. As his on court career progressed Jordan's new possession became golf. When the two would meet on the course it was interesting to see which fan favorite had more crowd support. Offered here is an 11x14" photo one of Arnold Palmer's personal favorites from the Old Course at St. Andrews that he signed in gold paint pen "To Michael Jordan Best Wishes". It has been deluxe frame measuring 25 1/2" x 35 1/2" with cut mat identifier from Palmer to Jordan "With Greatest Respect". Seldom seen opportunity to acquire a signed tribute from one legend of sport to another legend. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature of Arnold Palmer and the inscription finding both to be hand signed by Palmer, and their letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
