"Golden" slippers once on the feet of 'The King' while sitting on his throne, or Arnold Palmer's personal golf cleats in which he played with at the exclusive Windemere, FL Isleworth Golf Club - either way. Affixed to the insole of the both the right and left Johnston & Murphy golf shoes is the label of great significance and tracing these 'Islewoth' golf cleats back to the man that was known as Arnold Palmer. 'The King's' slippers are not easy to come by, with these from him, likely worn numerous times on the course due to numerous signs of usage, the faded sticker print and even grass even in the cleat still. These are stamped "11 C/A 29512 12 - 27-2160 802' on the inside, pictured in photo 7. 'AP' is written in black sharpie on the sole of each, with the cleats showing both usage and aging depicted in accompanying lot photos. These Johnston & Murphy gamers are exhibition-worthy of the finest collections or museums pining for the scarce 4-time Masters champion, 'Mr. Palmer's', personal used items that tell a story. 12"
