A stunning embroidered Augusta National Golf Club Member's flag is offered here for bidders. This flag is only made available in the Augusta National Golf Club Members golf shop and comes in excellent condition. Sourced from The Doug Sanders Museum Collection is this Augusta National Golf Club Members Embroidered Flag, originally obtained through Sanders' connections and celebrity status as a staple in golf for over two decades. The 20-time PGA Tour winner Doug Sanders was picked as a member of the 1967 Ryder Cup Team and obtained the nickname "The Peacock of the Fairways" with his colorful wardrobe. With friends in high places, a typical pro-am tournament field Sanders took part in might have consisted of names such as George H.W. Bush, Neil Armstrong and Willie Nelson. A large number of items that Doug collected over his playing career and thereafter are on display at The Doug Sanders Museum. Sharing in the joy of collecting, the generated funds from this sale will help benefit the Doug Sanders Museum. A signed letter of provenance from the museum will accompany this item.

NEW AUCTION CLOSING RULES:

Place your bids now as this auction will close LOT BY LOT beginning at 9:00pm ET Sunday, May 23rd. When placing INITIAL bid, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will be eligible for the extended bidding period. The countdown clock will be set for a 30-minute interval. Each lot will have it’s own 30-minute countdown. The clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm ET
4. All lots will begin closing on a LOT BY LOT basis at 9pm ET

**Once extended bidding starts at 9pm ET, each lot will then begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you**
