Ben Hogan Signed Ben Hogan 'Edge' Logo Golf Ball
One can't imagine a more ideal medium to hold a Ben Hogan autograph than this, his company's 'Hogan Edge' golf ball. Even the pearly white cover of this ball features fits perfect, as Hogan "the perfectionist" routinely soaked golf balls in salt water to find ones that were perfectly round. This precision carried over to the way Hogan signed his name forming each of the 8 letters in his name with clarity. The ball displays its large and well-formed signature with admirable quality, and the contrast between surface of the ball and Hogan's bold penmanship is outstanding. This lot offers an eminently viewable and uniquely impactful example of a Ben Hogan signed golf ball--a marvelous relic of Hogan.
