Ben Hogan Takes 4th US Open' Ltd Ed Doug London Print #320/950 - Gifted to Will Mann

Artist Douglas B London commemorated Ben Hogan's Triple Crown season by creating this detailed depiction of Hogan with a background made up of the newspaper article from the 1953 US Open. London painted Hogan post-swing on top of the mixed-media composition. This print #320/450 was presented to Past PGA President Will Mann as engraved on the bottom gold-tone nameplate. Triple Crown refers to Hogan in 1953 winning the Masters, U.S. Open and British Opens in one single memorable season. It is framed complimentary to the piece. 39 x 24 1/2" A signed letter of provenance from Will Mann comes with this lot.
