Bobby Jones Signed 1933 US Open at North Shore Golf Club Ticket #344
Amateur Johnny Goodman went on to win the 1933 U.S. Open (becoming the fifth and final amateur to this day to win the Championship). The closest an amateur has come to a U.S. Open title since was in 1960 when a young Jack Nicklaus was the runner-up, two strokes back.
