Byron Nelson Signed 1945 PGA Championship at Moraine CC Program
Byron Nelson defeated Gene Sarazen in the first round of the 1945 PGA Championship, and would go on to claim the title in the match play event. This would account for the 8th of Nelson's 11 straight victories in 1945. Offered here is a program from the tournament signed by Nelson in black marker, with the added notation of 'Best Wishes'. This program is in fair condition with the front cover partially displaced from the binding. Please see photos.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
