Byron Nelson, Sam Snead, & Gene Sarazen Signed Augusta National Golf Club Scorecards
In the 1990's, while this year's new legendary starters (Gary, Arnie and Jack) were still competing, the legendary starters at the Masters were Gene Sarazen, Sam Snead and Byron Nelson. They combined to win six Masters titles: Sarazen (1935), Nelson (1937 & 1942) and Snead (1949,52,54). All three of their autographs in black ink are present on the offered Masters scorecards free from any defects. Gene Sarazen was one of the world's top players in the 1920s and 1930s. He is one of five golfers to win all the current major championships in his career, the Career Grand Slam: U.S. Open in 1922, 1932, PGA Championship in 1922, 1923, 1933, British Open in 1932, and The Masters in 1935. Sam Snead "Slammin' Sammy" was one of the top players in the world for most of four decades. Snead won a record 82 PGA Tour events including seven majors. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974, and received the PGA Tour Lifetime Achievement Award in 1998. Byron Nelson became the second recipient of the PGA Tour Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997, and was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974. James Spence Authentication or PSA has reviewed each of these three autographs and provide their certificate of authenticity on the signatures in this lot.

Place your bids now as this auction will end at 9:00pm ET Sunday, April 11th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. When placing INITIAL bid, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15-minute time period (at 10pm ET, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm ET
**If extended bidding goes pass midnight ET, The Golf Auction reserves the right to close the auction at any time. We recommend bidders place their maximum bids prior to that time. Thank you**
