Carey Middlecoff Signed 1952 'Golf Doctor' Book
The late Dr. Cary Middlecoff signed his authored book with the fitting title 'Golf Doctor' on the flyleaf in blue ballpoint pen. Three-time major winner and dentist Cary Middlecoff won the 1955 Masters Tournament, slipping on the green jacket in between hoisting US Open trophies. The 1956 win was Middlecoff's second US Open win, having won in 1949. following his career he was unsurprisingly elected to The World Golf hall of Fame. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
