Chip Beck, an American golfer and 4 time winner on the P.G.A. tour,Chip Beck was the second person in history, and only one of six players to score a 59 in a professional golf tournament. This rare golf feat occurred in the third round of the Las Vegas Invitational on the Sunrise Golf Club. His round included 5 pars and 13 birdies. Mr. Beck placed second in the 1993 Masters and T2 at the 1986 and 1989 U.S. Opens. He also played on the 1989, 1991, and 1993 Ryder Cup Golf teams.
