Commissioned Augusta National Golf Club Bernard Willington Oil Painting - Museum Quality
Representing the finest original oil painting of the world-renowned Augusta National Golf Club grounds we have seen, artist Bernard Willington made certain that no brush stroke was done out of place to parallel ANGC's immaculate grounds keeping practice. Engineer by trait, Willington traveled from South Wales to West Africa during his career. After being commissioned by St Andrews for a piece in its Old Course Hotel, Bernard Willington placed a focus on golfing subject matter with an emphasis on the World's top courses. This road lead him to Augusta, Georgia where he opened a studio. Perhaps the crown jewel of his portfolio, surrounding artist depictions of the club co-founder Bobby Jones, three of the grounds including the clubhouse and Amen Corner, and another three of prominent course flowers 'White Dogwood, Azalea and Magnolia. In addition to the course layout and accompanying theme depictions is a scroll with each of the 18 hole names, yardages and pars written in calligraphy. 43" x 34"

AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
Place your bids now as this auction will end at 9:00pm ET Sunday, April 11th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. When placing INITIAL bid, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15-minute time period (at 10pm ET, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm ET
**If extended bidding goes pass midnight ET, The Golf Auction reserves the right to close the auction at any time. We recommend bidders place their maximum bids prior to that time. Thank you**
