Craig Wood Vintage Signed Cut

Here is the opportunity to cross one of the most difficult of past Masters Champions autographs off your wish list, and for that matter one of the toughest modern era U.S. Open champs as he followed his Masters win in '41 by also claiming the second Major of the year. This 3"x 5" cut signature signed in fountain pen comes from Craig Wood who was the winner of the 8th Masters which was contested in 1941,and with his passing in 1968, long before the Masters autograph craze hit the market, makes for a challenging autograph to obtain. Regarded as the second hardest of past champs trailing only the 1948 winner Claude Harmon in difficulty of acquisition. This prized signature is accompanied by an 8" x 10" black and white original Rotofotos wire photo which depicts Wood walking at Pinehurst during play of the North and South. Photo remains in EX/MT condition (standard press room stampings and grease pencil marks appear on reverse side of image). James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this autograph of Craig Wood, and their letter of authenticity comes with this signature.
