Early 1930s Augusta National GC Photo of Bobby Jones, Miller, & others Surveying Construction Grounds

This crystal clear 8 x 10 shot free from chipping of Bobby Jones with engineer in charge Wendell P. Miller displays one of their earliest visits to what would become the Augusta National Golf Club. This image was stored in the files of the Miller family for over 85 years prior to it coming to auction in 2019. It cries out for ownership by the finest photo libraries known with a dedication to Bobby Jones, Augusta National Golf Club or golf history as an emphasis. The reverse is stamped Hamilton M. Wright Newspaper Feature New York City. There is very slight, expected surface wear. Letter of provenance from the family of Wendell P. Miller comes with this lot.
