Five (5) Vintage Golf Club Heads Including R. Simpson, BGI, & others
Included in this offering are five vintage golf club heads from some of the largest manufacturers in the game including Robert Simpson and BGI. Robert arrived in Carnoustie in 1883 to take up the position of professional at the Dalhousie Golf Club, and, as well as attending to the needs of the members, was encouraged by the Club to further his activity in club making. This decision unleashed the talents of the most prolific, inventive, and artistic club maker known. His design and manufacturing in his Carnoustie workshop changed the face of club making for all time. BGI of course was known for their one-piece clubs. These are in fair condition, with a more precise condition report lying in the pictures.
