Four Golf Clubs - Munarch Putter, Spalding Cresent Iron, P-61 Niblick, & Roche Forged Iron
Munarch Hand Forged Putter - Offered here is a hand forged Munarch putter. The head shows some wear and aging, though still good condition. It measures 35 1/2" to the heel.
A. G. Spalding Bros Makers Crescent Iron - No matter what brand of club you pull from your bag, you owe some thanks to one company - Spalding. At the turn of the 20th Century, golf had stirred mild interest in the United States, and A.G. Spalding & Brothers sporting goods saw an opportunity. The company was already selling golf balls when, in 1905, it became the first in America to offer its own brand of golf clubs. A Spalding Crescent iron is offered here. It measures 33 1/2" and comes in great condition, the grip appearing slightly loose.
P-61 Mashie Niblick - Approved by PGA - Clover Stamp - Here we have a P-61 mashie niblick. It features a clover head stamp and is marked "Approved by PGA." It measures 38" to the heel and comes in great condition.
James M. Roche Hammer Forged Iron - Elkridge Golf Club - T. R. C. Initials - A James M. Roche hammer forged Elkridge Golf Club iron is offered here for bidders. It measures 37 1/2" to the heel and comes in great condition. The initials T. R. C. appear on the head. The shaft has a bend to it, please see photographs.
