Francis Ouimet 1913 US Open Original News Service Photo - Exceptional Quality!
Francis Ouimet won the 1913 US Open at The Country Club at Brookline becoming the home grown star of United States Golf. Ouimet took the title in an 18 hole playoff with Ted Ray and Harry Vardon. Offered here is a 5" x 4" original News Service wire photograph commemorating the 1913 US Open. The back of the photo has the typical marks and stamps expected in this generation of seldom found material. This over 100 year old material still presents in stunning quality at a conservative Ex/Mt condition. Easily would fit as a cornerstone of any advanced golf photo amassing.
