Gary Player's 2014 Arnold Palmer 50th Anniversary Masters Commemorative Callaway Golf Bag
Half of a century had passed in 2014 since Arnold Palmer's final Masters Tournament win in 1964. Callaway celebrated that anniversary with this style bag fit for a king and presented to a knight. Gary Player, fellow Callaway player with Arnie at the time, used this bag in 2014 - customized for play by Callaway and featuring his SPA sponsor on the big pocket. Tour authentic and Limited Edition 2014 are written on a gold-tone band, with each of Arnie's four winning years wrapping around the green base in white. Crown illustrations can be found on either side of the top of the bag, as shown in the accompanying lot photos, along with Arnold Palmer's signature on the backside small pocket. With great attention to detail, Callaway added "50" and Arnie's umbrella zippers on the pockets. This thoughtfully crafted green, white and yellow personal bag of Gary's has numerous angles of intrigue and carried the clubs of The Masters' first international winner and record 52-time contestant.
