Gene Sarazen Signed 1941 Miami International Four-Ball 12x19 Photo
The Miami International Four-Ball tournament was a star-studded tournament that lasted from 1924 to 1954. The 1941 tournament included two teams of golf hall of famers collection the first place and runner up checks. A team of Gene Sarazen and Ben Hogan won that week over Sam Snead and Ralph Guldahl, the Masters Tournament victor two years prior. This oversize 12" by 19" photo is signed and dated by Gene Sarazen, who is pictured in the trophy ceremoney with his arm around partner Ben Hogan. Sarazen used blue sharpie and penned his name below his image, along with the year he signed it 1993. PSA has reviewed this signature and their full letter of authenticity #V05091 comes with this lot.
AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, September 15th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
