Gene Sarazen Signed 1967 Augusta National Golf Club Bar Receipt

Gene Sarazen, known to many as 'The Squire,' orchestrated a final round in 1935 at Augusta National Golf Club that culminated in a playoff with Craig Wood and Highlighted by his Double Eagle on No. 15. Sarazen left his signature on this Augusta National Check No. 7498 dated June 1, 1967, with the inscription of 'Germantown, New York' is also written by Gene. Sarazen was one of the world's top players in the 1920's and 1930's. He is one of five golfers to win all the current major championships in his career, the Career Grand Slam: U.S. Open in 1922, 1932, PGA Championship in 1922, 1923, 1933, British Open in 1932, and The Masters in 1935.
