Gene Sarazen's Personal 1964 Athletes Of The Century Award
High praise is 'Athlete of the Century' in your sport, but for 'The Squire' Gene Sarazen it was well warranted. Inaugural member of modern day Grand Slam club and Seve major championships speaks for itself. This plaque reads, with a single descriptor edit: 'Athletes of the Century Golf Awarded to Gene Sarazen All Sports Award Dinner Nassau County Chapter - Association for the Help of (Handicapped) Children - January 26, 1964.' 10 x 12." A signed letter of provenance from Mary Ann Sarazen will come with this lot.

3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS at the time of auction close will close at 10pm ET
