Golf Course Architecture' Ltd Ed 50/50 Book w/Slip Case Signed by Author Hurdzan
This is an extremely limited edition book #50/50 hand signed by the architect and author, Dr. Michael J. Hurdzan, intended for a select group of special people. Not only has this volume and slip case been individually handcrafted of the finest materials possible, this may be the first book in the past 100 years to revive a centuries old practice called "fore-edge painting.“ The image depicted on the fore-edge painting is that of famed architect, Donald Ross. The fore-edge painting of Donald Ross makes for an incredible rare display and presentation. We cannot overstate how impressive this book is in the world of golf course architecture and design. The author, Dr. Michael J. Hurdzan, is one of America's most respected golf course designers in the industry. Michael Hurdzan famously designed Erin Hills, home of the 2017 U.S. Open won by Brooks Koepka, and future site of many upcoming USGA championships. His firm is located in Columbus, OH and is responsible for designing over 150 new courses not only in North America, but internationally as well. It should be noted that Dr. Hurdzan is also author of the well-known monograph 'Evolution of the Modern Green.' In 1996 he decided it was time to put some of his trade secrets and unique strategy that has brought his firm great success over the years to paper. Aside from designing, Dr. Michael J. Hurdzan spent 23 years in command of the Special Forces, Infantry and Psychological Operations units in the United States Army Special Reserve program. Included with a slipcover, this book is nearly 400 pages and is highly sought after in the golf course design community.

AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
Place your bids NOW. The auction will close beginning at 10:00pm EDT Sunday, April 9th. When placing your INITIAL bid in the auction, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. Each lot has its own 30 minute countdown clock during extended bidding. The clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. Place your initial bids BEFORE 10pm ET in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET
Extended bidding starts at 10pm ET, and each lot will begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid placed during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you
