Great Content RobertT. Jones Jr. (Bobby) Signed 1954 Letter to Nat. Educational Films, Inc for USGA Sportsmanship
Letter is to Mr. W. French Githens, President of National Educational Films, Inc. Written September 1, 1954, the letter details an enclosed script of what Bobby would like to say in the educational U.S.G.A. film. The conclusion of this Jones, Williams, Dorsey and Kane letterhead bears a full Robert T. Jones Jr. signature. Included is Bobby Jones' law envelope as well. To just say Bobby Jones had an impact on sportsmanship in golf would be selling him short. He was the ambassador of the game as he was The Masters, from building Augusta National Golf Club to starting the "Invitation Tournament" in 1934. Content of this U.S.G.A. film elevates Jones to his level of deity in the game he so richly deserved. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
