Hal Sutton's 2003 UBS Cup at Sea Island Sterling Silver Bowl - Winning Team Member
Champion Hal Sutton represented the United States in the 2003 and 2004 UBS Cups, winning each of the tournaments captained by the legendary Arnold Palmer (a 12-12 tie in 2003 allowed US to retain cup won in 2002). The international tournament was structured with teams of 12 consisting of half of the golfers of the age 50 or over and the other half in their 40's.
Here is Sutton's 2003 Warburg Cup presented to him as a member of the winning United States team in good condition. Silver hallmarks on the cup include "TF," "925," "C," and a lion depiction on the topside of the sterling silver piece. The UBS Warburg Cup comes in good condition and is crafted with a maker's mark of Theo Fennell in London on the reverse. 5 3/4" diameter - 3/4" tall
