Henry 'H.G.' Picard Signed Titleist Logo Golf Ball with '1938' Masters Win Notation
This Titleist ball bears the later life signature of H.G. (Henry) Picard, one of the greatest instructors in the history of the game, so revered that Ben Hogan turned to him for his eye on the golf swing. A World Golf Hall of Famer whose career numbers were cut short by illness, Picard had his career defining moment when he captured the fifth Masters in 1938. A moment in time that Picard has remembered adding the seldom seen '1938" notation after his black sharpie signature. This addition of the year 1938 irresistibly inspires thoughts of the Masters tournaments infancy and the wonder which was its early years and past champions. An outstanding signed ball from Picard who deceased in 1997, and a future showpiece of an advanced collection focused on Masters champion with added year of triumph in Augusta. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
