The new course at St. Andrews really is not that "new". Built in 1895 by Old Tom Morris. It is one of six courses operated by the St. Andrews Links Trust and plays alongside the famous Old Course. Featured in this lot is a blue caddy bib worn by Angelo Argea with a "2 by "9 1/2 patch that reads NEW ST.ANDREWS under that patch in 3 inch high lettering is J. Nicklaus. The reverse of the bib features the same 3 inch high lettering with the legendary name again of J. Nicklaus. Above this lettering the Golden Bear has autographed the bib big and bold with his classic flowing signature. Letter from JSA comes with item attesting to the authenticity of the Nicklaus penwork.
