Jack Nicklaus Signed 1973 PGA Championship at Canterbury Program

Ohio native Jack Nicklaus won the third of his five PGA Championships at the 1973 PGA Championship held at Canterbury, four strokes ahead of runner-up Bruce Crampton. This win marked number twelve out of of Nicklaus' eventual eighteen major titles as a professional. At the time, the late Bobby Jones was the holder of the most major title victories with thirteen. Including his two U.S. Amateur titles, Nicklaus now had 14 majors, surpassing Jones when counting the Amateur victories. Ask Jack, he counts them, unlike many news outlets and fans alike. This was the third major at Canterbury, with the previous two U.S. Open's being decided in a playoff. Nicklaus has struck his signature nicely on the cover in black sharpie.
