Jack Nicklaus US Open Wire Photo 6/17/1980 Back in the Swing Jack Nicklaus Drives a ball straight down the fairway on the first hole during the third round of the United States Open Golf Tournament at the Baltusrol Golf Club. Nicklaus won his fourth US Open June 15th by two strokes with a record four round total of 272. The victory ended a discouraging dry spell for Nicklaus, Who had not won a tourney since 1978.
