Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson Signed Original 1986 Turnberry Poster
Depicted is the limited edition photograph 'Shared Glory' by Brian D. Morgan. The photo comes from the infamous 1977 'Duel in the Sun' between Nicklaus and Watson. It is is considered by many to be the finest tournament played in the last half of the 20th century. Watson shot a 65 while Nicklaus hit a 35ft birdie to make 66 and force a crucial 2ft put from Watson to secure the Claret Jug. Only a few months prior to the Open Championship, the first at Turnberry, Watson stayed ahead of Nicklaus to hold on for the Masters victory. This photo captures a great moment, it was used as an advertisement for the 1986 Tournament, the return to Turnberry. Poster is in excellent shape. Both Nicklaus and Watson have signed this 15" x 21 1/2" poster, it would be a great addition to any collection.
