Jean Van De Velde Signed Titleist 4 Logo Golf Ball
Down ten strokes coming into Sunday's round, Lawrie's win was aided by Jean van de Velde's collapse on the final hole, where he shot a triple-bogey to force a three-way playoff between himself, Lawrie, and Justin Leonard. Lawrie won the playoff in four holes. Paul Lawrie won his lone major championship at the 1999 Open by staging the biggest final round comeback in major championship history. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
