Timing couldn't be better to offer personal items from the 1991 PGA and 1995 Open Champ, as realized prices in this "player-used" category have skyrocketed across the world of sport in the last couple years - matching Daly's ball off the tee. Where John Daly goes the cameras follow. The free-swinging grip it and rip it "underdog" golfer with an un-filtered personality and approach unique to his own was and is nonconforming, and why should he be. The dress code might be business casual, but that doesn't mean the sport coat has to be a lackluster shade of black or grey. It worked!
University of Arkansas' John Daly won 5 times on the PGA Tour, including the two major championships. After his improbable night of driving as the ninth alternate (literally) en route to winning the 1991 PGA Championship at Crooked Stick, he would unsurprisingly be presented with the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year honors. Sixteen other professional wins, many of those contributing to his PGA Tour card opportunity. Sports are a form of entertainment and few have done it as well as John.
