Widely regarded as the greatest British woman player of all time, her play and swing were greatly admired by Bobby Jones. Her victories include 5 English Amateur Championships (consecutive), and 4 British Ladies Amateur Championships. Presented here is a rare ticket from Joyce Wethered's Exhibition Match at the Highland Golf and Country Club in Indianapolis. Completing that patron's experience at the tournament was undoubtedly speaking with Joyce Wethered and obtaining her signature in pencil on the ticket itself. The lady golfers that joined her on July 16, 1935 were Elizabeth Abbott of California, Indiana Open Champion Neal McIntyre, and State Amateur Champion Johnny McGuire, Anderson. The two-way frame allows for viewing of both sides and measures 8 3/4" x 8 3/4", ticket is 2 5/8" x 2 5/8."
