Ken Venturi Signed 1953 UPI Photo at US Amateur Championship
"...My best and favorite pupil...Byron Nelson." Byron Nelson put much thought into that message he once hand wrote to Ken Venturi. Venturi won the California State Amateur Championship and claimed Masters Low Amateur and Runner Up accolades. With the guidance and instruction of Byron Nelson and playing experience with Ben Hogan, Venturi won the California State Amateur Championship in 1951 and 1956. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authentication comes with this lot. 7" x 9."
