Larry Mize 1987 Masters Tournament Winning Used Powerbilt Citation Pro-Spoon
"I also furnished you with a Spaulding Power Built Citation spoon which I used in the same Masters Tournament (1987)." Larry Mize wrote to John Hamilton regarding this club on January 8, 1992. A copy of this letter is shown in the 10th picture in this listing. Hamilton's Newport Sports Museum opened in 1995 and remained open to 2014 when it shut its doors. John’s collecting started in 1953 and he had many supporters that helped get him access to winning players and teams to amass his great collection. Thru his connections he was able to obtain an autographed baseball from each years World Series winning team. John was a huge golf fan and had purchased a set of Dwight Eisenhower’s clubs directly from Mamie, Dwight’s wife. Items from the Newport Sports Museum are always of the utmost authenticity and were normally obtained directly from the player or team by John or his large group of supporters in the world of sports.

Place your bids now as this auction will close LOT BY LOT beginning at 9:00pm ET Sunday, July 18th. When placing INITIAL bid, you must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your bid. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will be eligible for the extended bidding period. Each lot will have its OWN COUNTDOWN CLOCK set for a 30-minute interval starting at 9pm ET. The clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot during a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm ET
4. All lots will begin closing on a LOT BY LOT basis at 9pm ET
**Once extended bidding starts at 9pm ET, each lot will then begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid during extended bidding will close at 9:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you**
