One of the highlights of The Golf Auction conducting our Masters week auction from Augusta, Georgia is the opportunity to add great last minute on-site 2014 tournament items to the auction. This keeps our much appreciated bidders anxious to return to the website for a peek at what new has been consigned. Sure to be the highlight of these Masters week gem consignments is the actual menu from inside the 2014 Champions Dinner, which has been autographed by 29 past champions and Augusta National Chairman Billy Payne(2X). These signatures have all been penned in black sharpie with a minimum of 9 signature strength to the autograph with the majority grading out at perfect "10's".The Champion's Dinner has been an annual tradition at the Masters since 1952, when Ben Hogan suggested and hosted the first dinner. The menu is selected by the previous year's winner(in this case 2013's Adam Scott)with the champion usually selecting something from his home country. This year Scott from Australia choose one of his boyhood favorites Morton Bay bugs. Which sounds horrible to most, but was actually well received by the Masters Club (formal name)as it is a type of lobster.
