Highly acclaimed artist Robert Fletcher wonderfully depicted 11-time major winner Walter Hagen post-swing in front of an intrigued gallery lining the fairway. Two-tone shoes, a comfortable and stylish sweater and plus fours, Hagen was in his element and dressed for success.
Renown golf industry artist Robert Fletcher has dedicated nearly 40 years to refining his craft in the fine arts. His works are exhibited on the historic grounds of Cherry Hills and Colorado Golf Club in bronze busts, prior to participating as a lead artist in the recent Golf Heritage Society Meeting art workshop. His most recent success was work that was used as a tribute to the course architect team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw at the Colorado Golf Club. Robert has a unique style, with a mix of realism and and shadowing resulting in an almost a mythic result. This offering is for a tastefully framed original oil on canvas of the legendary Walter Hagen by Robert Fletcher, with the prized artist's signature painted in the bottom right-hand corner. 27" x 31"

AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
Place your bids NOW, don’t wait until the last minute. The auction will close beginning at 10:00pm ET Sunday, June 18th. You must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your initial bid. During extended bidding, each lot will have its own 30-minute countdown clock. The clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot for a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. Place your initial bids BEFORE 10pm ET in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET
Extended bidding starts at 10pm ET, and each lot will begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid placed during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you
