Ramon Sota Signed Vintage Augusta National Scorecard
This offering is for a time-period Augusta National Scorecard that is signed and scored by Ramon Sota, a prominent Spanish professional golfer. In fact in 1965, Sota finished 6th at the U.S. Masters, which at the time was the best performance in the tournament by any European. The interesting story continues with Sota, as he competed on the European tour for one season. During that season he became the first player to be penalized in Britain for slow play and promptly retired. This ANGC scorecard is signed and scored with the Masters Tournament date in blue ballpoint pen. Please note card matches the members scorecard of the 1960's , and not one used by contestants in Masters play. Also date of April 5 corresponds to Thursday round which Sota shot 71. He did shoot 70 in Saturday April 10th round. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authentication comes with this lot.

2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET
Extended bidding starts at 10pm ET, and each lot will begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid placed during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you
