Ltd Ed AP USGA Bobby Jones Print from Thomas Stephens Original Painting
Here is the artist proof USGA reproduction print of Bobby Jones by Thomas Stephens, as notated in pencil below the image on the left side where the limited edition number of 850 would normally be found. One of the most famous works of golf art remains Thomas Stephens' portrait of a post-swing Bobby Jones. Bobby Jones is widely considered a pioneer in the game of golf, reaching unparalleled success as a chosen amateur golfer propelling him quickly to mythical status. The career lawyer that co-founded the Augusta National Golf Club and a life-long amateur golfer. Merely mentioning Bobby Jones had an impact on The Masters would be selling him extremely short. He was The Masters, from building Augusta National Golf Club the way he envisioned doing it to starting the "Invitation Tournament" in 1934. The first playing was only four years of course after his Grand Slam year of 1930 in which he won the US Open, US Amateur, Open Championship and British Amateur. Please note there are three small stains on this print noted for accuracy purposes and not taking away from the presentation value. 22" x 20".

AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
Place your bids NOW, don’t wait until the last minute. The auction will close beginning at 10:00pm ET Sunday, June 18th. You must agree to the terms BEFORE confirming your initial bid. During extended bidding, each lot will have its own 30-minute countdown clock. The clock will extend 30-minutes from the time of the most recently placed bid for that lot. If no bids are placed on that lot for a 30-minute period, the lot will close. Place your bids now!
1. Place your initial bids BEFORE 10pm ET in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you may bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. Lots with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 10pm ET
Extended bidding starts at 10pm ET, and each lot will begin closing with its own 30-minute countdown timer. Lots without a bid placed during extended bidding will close at 10:30pm ET. We recommend you place your maximum bid(s) prior to that time. Thank you
