1967 US Amateur at Broadmoor GC Press B9 Pin - Bob Dickson Winner
Bob Dickson in 1967 won the United States Golf Association's Amateur by a stroke from Vinny Giles, when the Championship was at stroke play, and earlier that year he won the British Amateur, beating Ron Cerrudo in the final, 2 and 1. That same year he was a member of the Walker Cup team and won all his matches. Following the season he received the Bob Jones Award from the U.S.G.A. for "Distinguished Sportsmanship in Golf". A 2 1/4" diameter Press Badge as issued by the U.S.G.A. for the 1967 U.S. Amateur is offered here.
