1958 US Amateur Championship Program at Olympic Club - Charles Coe Winner
Presented in this lot is the official program from the 58th U.S. Amateur Championship held at The Olympic Club. This Championship was held September 8-13 on the Lake Course, it witnessed Charles Coe become the Champion. This marked Coe’s second Aametur Championship as he also won in 1949. One of America’s outstanding amateurs, Coe never turned pro. Charlie had a great record in Augusta, finishing The Masters as low-amateur six times and in 1961 he came within a stroke of tying for first
