'The Velvet Touch' Book Horton Smith and Marian Benton - Signed by Benton
Published in 1965, this is the ultimate keepsake as it is a Horton Smith biography. Horton was the winner of the inaugural and third Masters tournaments. Not many facts are easily recallable about Smith, sometimes referred ti as the greatest putter who ever lived. The book was self-published in 1965, the title is Benton’s description of Smith’s approach to both putting and to life generally. Fellow golfers including Bobby Jones, Tommy Armour, Cliff Roberts, and Gene Sarazen all had their input into the life and golf lore that is Horton Smith
