Cary Middlecoff Signed 8x10 Black and White Photo

Middlecoff blitzed the field to win the 1955 Masters by seven strokes over Ben Hogan. This was no surprise victory for Cary Middlecoff, who remains one of the most underrated golfers in the history of the game, despite his World Golf Hall of Fame status. A reason for this oversite may be the short window he was at the top of his game, and also that he was overshadowed by flashier stories in the 1950's mainly Ben Hogan and Sam Snead. In this time period, along with his Masters title Middlecoff also captured the 1949 and 1956 U.S. Open Championships. His 28 PGA Tour titles set the standard for for most victories by any player in the 1950's. Your chance is here in this auction lot to own an outstanding autographed piece on this great player who ranks 9th on the all-time Tour win list. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this autograph of Middlecoff, and their letter of authenticity comes with this lot.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on November 22nd with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
