1996 The Memorial Tournament Book Honoring Billy Casper - Mark Brooks Collection
The 1996 Memorial Tournament honored Bill Casper and all of his contributions to golf and the history of golf. Limited edition #108/200 book comes from the Mark Broooks Collection. Casper had 51 PGA Tour wins in his career, with his first coming in 1956. This total places him seventh on the all time list. His victories helped him finish third in McCormack's World Golf Rankings in 1968, 1969 and 1970, the first three years they were published. He won three major championships: the 1959 and 1966 U.S. Opens, and the 1970 Masters Tournament. He was the PGA Tour Money Winner in 1966 and 1968. He was PGA Player of the Year in 1966 and 1970. This item has been authenticated by JSA and comes with a letter of authenticity. Casper unfortunately passed away this past February.

This great run of golf at its highest level has been highlighted by seven PGA Tour wins, his play as a victorious member of the 1996 United States Presidents Cup team, and of course his Major triumph at the 1996 PGA Championship.
