Ray Floyd Signed 1986 US Open at Shinnecock Hills Logo Golf Ball
Presented here is a 1986 US Open at Shinnecoock Hills logo golf ball that is signed in black sharpie by that year's winner Ray Floyd. A tough ball to find with that year's tournament, and an equally tough autograph to receive, this is an exceptional addition to any collection. With the win, Floyd became the oldest winner of the U.S. Open at 43 years and 284 days, surpassing the long-standing record of Ted Ray from 1920 by several months. It was Floyd's fourth and final major championship, and he only won twice more in his career. Masters champion Jack Nicklaus, age 46, finished in a tie for 8th, his last top-10 finish at the U.S. Open.
