The 1936 Walker Cup was held at none other then what is now arguably the #1 rated golf course in the USA and World. Pine Valley Country Club saw the United States defeat Great Britain & Ireland handily 10 1/2 - 1 1/2. Original wire photo from that even with Captains Francis Ouimet & William Tredell measures 6" x 8"
