1945 Best Ball Match Ticket - Craig Wood and Toney Penna #615
Held at Midlothian Country Club on June 24th, 1945, the best ball match placed 2 two man teams against each-other. The teams were as follows:
Craig Wood (National Open Champ) & Jimmie Hines (Metropolitan Open Champ)
vs.
Toney Penna (North South Open Champ) & Red Dennison (Midlothian)
Ticket measures 2 1/8" x 4 1/4" and is #615. On reveres side there is remnants at two spots from when it was once in a scrapbook.
