Jack Nicklaus Signed 1963 Palm Springs Golf Classic Program
In 1963 the 4th Annual Tournament known as the Palm Springs Classic (later known as the Bob Hope) was held at the following courses: Bermuda Dunes CC, Eldorado CC, Indian Wells CC, and Tamarisk CC. Young Jack Nicklaus mastered them all in claiming his fourth of 73 career PGA wins. The triumph did not come easy as it required a playoff victory against his soon to be frequent rival Gary Player. Program from event remains in Near Mint condition with it's champion Jack Nicklaus placing a "10" strength of signature autograph on the front cover. James Spence Authentication (JSA) provides authenticity for the Nicklaus signature in this lot.
