Ben Hogan Wire Photo 18 - 6/19/1955 Ben Hogan had his troubles Saturday in the final 36-hole round of the National Open, but still managed to tie for the lead after the regulation 72 holes. He had 287, the same number of strokes needed by little-known Jack Fleck from Davenport, LA. Here, Hogan played a safe shot from under the trees on fourth hole of the final round. Photo is 9x7 in size.
