1953 Invitation Letter to Henry Cotton - Play in First Gleneagles-Saxone Amateur Tournament
The Gleneagles-Saxone Amateur-Professional Golf Tournament was played from 1953 to 1966. In the letter, the tournament Secretary advises Henry of pros that had accepted as well as others such as Ben Hogan and Lloyd Mangrum. It would appear he was trying to entice Cotton to play the tournament himself.
