Ben Hogan Signed August 2, 1990 Letter on Personal Letterhead
Nine time Major winner Ben Hogan is generally considered one of the greatest players in the history of the game. Born within six months of two other acknowledged golf greats of the twentieth century, Sam Snead and Byron Nelson, Hogan is notable for his profound influence on the golf swing theory and his legendary ball-striking ability, for which he remains renowned among players and fans. Here we have a letter from 1990 signed by Hogan himself in pen. This letter comes in response, apparently, to a fan asking for a photograph. Hogan explains his photograph supply has "long since been exhausted." This will add nicely to any collection.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
